Ecstasy

Ecstasy is from the Greek ekstasis meaning to “stand outside” the ego. It refers to a joy so intense that one is carried beyond rational thought. We use the word “feeling” as a synonym for ecstasy and the experience occurs in the present moment or in P-A.

A pseudo ecstasy or what some might call intense pleasure, is an expression of the sensation energy center of the false self and can be experienced, for example, when ingesting chemicals or in any ego-enhancing activities. All such pleasure when profoundly understood is in fact a form of suffering.
